How to Root Huawei Honor 8.



Rooting Honor 8 via SuperSU or Magisk zip is your choice, but we personally recommend getting root access via Magisk as it allows you to disable root on-the-fly when needed. It’s particularly helpful when you want use apps that don’t run on rooted devices.

To get started, you need to install Magisk systemless interface first on your Android device and then we’ll install the phh’s SuperUser systemless root for Magisk which works with Android Pay.

Backup important files stored on your device before proceeding with the steps below, so that in case something goes wrong you’ll have backup of all your important files.



÷ How to Root Huawei Honor 8:

1- Install TWRP recovery on your Huawei Honor 8.

2- Install Magisk systemless interface on your Android device.

3- Download and transfer the phh’s SuperUser .zip file to your device.

4- Boot your device into TWRP recovery, tap the Install button and flash the phh’s SuperUser .zip file from there.




5- Once phh’s SuperUser .zip file is flashed, reboot your device.

6- Download/Install phh’s SuperUser app from the Play Store.

7- Install the Magisk Manager .apk file to  to your device like you’d install any other APK file.

└ Magisk manager app will be useful when you temporarily want to disable root access on the device to be able to use Android Pay, Play Pokemon Go, etc.
