User asad510 over at xda has posted a simple Assistant Enabler zip for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that you can flash from TWRP recovery and have Google Assistant installed on your phone complete with “Ok Google” hotword setup.

Your Galaxy S7 must have Magisk systemless framework installed though to get the Assistant Enabler zip working. To get Magisk, follow our step-by-step guide to install Magisk on any Android device.
Grab the Galaxy S7 Google Assistant enabler zip and flash it to your device like you’d flash any other zip file using TWRP recovery.
