÷ How to Install TWRP Recovery and Root Huawei MediaPad X2.
1- From this page download the TWRP recovery package.
2- Place the file on desktop.Connect your tablet with your computer with the help of the USB cable.
3- From your computer open a command prompt window: press and hold Shift keyboard key while right clicking on any blank space.
4- Next, in the cmd window type “adb devices” in order to make sure that your device is recognized – if not, reinstall its USB drivers and then try again.
5- In the same cmd window, now enter “adb reboot bootloader” – your Huawei MediaPad X2 will be automatically rebooted into bootloader mode.
6- Finally, type the following command: “fastboot flash recovery recovery.img” (replace recovery.img with the name of the file you have downloaded and unzipped on your computer).
7- That’s it, when done reboot your device and resume the steps from below.
÷ Gain Root Access
1- From here download the SuperSU package and save it on your desktop – don’t unzip it.
2- Connect your Huawei MediaPad X2 with your computer via USB cable.
3- Transfer the downloaded package on your device and in the end unplug the USB cord.When done, turn off your tablet.
4- Enter recovery mode on your Huawei MediaPad X2.
5- From recovery tap on Install and then load the root exploit.
