Add to Flipboard Magazine. December 22,2016 by Android Custom ROM Fix

Yeah! It’s Christmas for OP3T users in December 22! The Nougat OTA for OnePlus 3T comes as OxygenOS 4.0.0, BTW, and is already available as download.

It’s being reported that the update is same as the Open Beta 8 Nougat test build for OnePlus 3, that was release by OnePlus as first Android 7.0 build under the beta program, later upgraded to Open beta 9 build.

The OxygenOS 4.0.0 Nougat update for the OnePlus 3T packs in December security patch, as can be seen from the screenshots above.

While, the screenshot below shows the multi-window mode from Android Nougat, which is just one of the tons of new features you get in Nougat.

Looks like the Android 7.0-coming-soon clue GFXbench got us earlier was dead to the point, as we were already able to check out the OnePlus 3T Nougat build listed thereat.

•The Nougat OTA requires OxygenOS 3.5.4 installed on your device. So if that’s not the case, download the 3.5.4 Full ROM from here, and install it first. Then install the OxygenOS 4.0.0 Nougat OTA.
