How to Update Nexus 6P to Android 7.0 Nougat NRD90M OTA.

The new Android 7.0 update has started rolling out as an OTA update for the Nexus family of devices, while quietly leaving out the Nexus 5. This over-the-air update will take several weeks before it reaches out to all users, but for those who can’t wait and want to install the update right away, we have the OTA links for you below!
Nougat brings in tons of optimizations to the Android OS and about 250 major features. A few of them include expanded emoji, quick settings, new notifications panel, multi-window support, quick switch, direct reply from notifications and much better battery stats.

•This tutorial is only for installing Android 7.0 NRD90M OTA on Nexus 6P.

÷ How to Update Manually Nexus 6P to Android 7.0 NRD90M OTA .
1- Download Nexus 6P Nougat OTA: NRD90M
Step 2. Install ADB drivers.
Also make sure that you have proper manufacturer drivers installed too.
Step 3. Make sure you have USB debugging enabled.
Step 4. Go to the folder where you have the OTA file, and open the command window.
You have to go to the folder where you have the OTA file, and use shift + right click to get a pop-up, form which you have to choose the option ‘open command windows here’. Ignore other files in the screenshot below.
Step 5. Reboot your device into recovery mode. For this, in the command window, run the following command.
adb reboot recovery
Step 6. Now, when you see Android logo with exclamation mark, hold Power button and then press Volume Up, to continue to recovery screen, which will have 3e recovery written at top.
Step 7. Now, run the following command to install the Nougat OTA update.
adb sideload ota_file_name.zip
Step 8. When the above process is done, you will be back to recovery’s main screen. You can unplug the cable now. And restart the device using ‘reboot system now’ option.
That’s it! Your Nexus 6P should now have Android 7.0 NRD90M Firmware on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.
