The same happened with the Galaxy Note 4 N910V, which under Verizon, can’t be customized and optimized through classic methods. •This tutorial is only for installing TWRP Recovery on Verizon Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910V. Please do not try on any other Samsung Galaxy Note 4 variants.
•Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.
•Samsung KIES will NOT detect your phone after installing this ROM because it is a custom firmware.
•On your Note 4 the battery status should display at least 50% power left; if different plug in the charger before doing anything else – otherwise,software related problems might be issued, in case your device gets turned off while you try to flash the TWRP recovery file.

Backup important files stored on your device before proceeding with the steps below, so that in case something goes wrong you’ll have backup of all your important files.
÷ How to Install TWRP Recovery on Verizon Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910V:
Step 1- Download the TWRP recovery file and place it on desktop.
Step 2- Then, download Odin; unzip and install the program on your computer.
Step 3- Flash the Galaxy Note 4 USB Drivers on your PC – you can use the Samsung KIES utility in that respect.
Step 4- When done, run the Odin software on your computer.
Step 5- Switch off your phone and put it into download mode: press and hold the Power, Volume Down and Home buttons at the same time – then, plug in the USB cord and connect your phone with your PC.
Step 6- Odin will have to recognize your Note 4 – if everything works fine, on the program the “added” message will be displayed and the ID:COM field will be turned yellow or blue.
Step 7- If the program isn’t communicating with your device, you will have to reinstall the USB drivers and to retry all the steps from above.
Step 8- Then, from Odin you will have to select the PA option.
Step 9- Load the TWRP recovery file and don’t check the Re Partition and Auto Reboot options.
Step 10- Click on Start when you are ready and then just wait while the installation process is running.
Step 11- When done, Odin will display the “pass” message and the ID:COM field will be turned green.
You can now unplug the USB cord and reboot your smartphone.
•Note: if Odin gets stuck in the middle of the flashing process follow – close the program, remove the USB cord, force restart your Note 4, reinstall the USB drivers on your PC and repeat the steps from above.
•Note 2: if after the last reboot your device will get stuck in a boot loop follow – reboot recovery mode on your Verizon Galaxy Note 4 and from there select “wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition”.
Good job; now you should be able to use the latest version of TWRP recovery on your own Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Enjoy and don’t hesitate to tweak your device in order to get more power and speed.
