Samsung is finally rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices. The company released several beta builds before releasing the final build earlier today.
Since this is a massive rollout, Samsung is pushing the update in stages, and hence it may take some time until it reaches your Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge device. Manually checking for update from Settings » About device » Download updates manually option might also prove helpful.
If you’re unable to get the OTA update even after checking for it manually, you might wanna roll back to a freshly installed BTU firmware on your European Galaxy S7 (G930F).
Don’t Worry We Are Going to share Step by Step Guide to Safely Update Your Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F to Official Nougat 7.0 G930FXXU1DPLT OTA.
To download Galaxy S7 Nougat OTA update, you need to install the last updated Marshmallow firmware (PLB) from BTU region on your device. Below is a full guide to install the firmware manually using Odin.

Backup important files stored on your device before proceeding with the steps below, so that in case something goes wrong you’ll have backup of all your important files.
÷ How to Install Marshmallow (BTU) firmware on Galaxy S7 SM-G930F:
1- Download G930FXXU1BPLB_G930FOXA1BPLB_BTU.zip and unzip the .zip file to get the following files:
2- Download Odin 3.12.3
3- Unzip the Odin 3.12.3 .zip file and run/open Odin3 v3.12.3.exe file from the extracted files on your PC.
4- Enable OEM unlock on your phone:
Go to Settings » About phone » and tap Build number seven times to enable Developer options.
5- Go back to main Settings page, scroll to bottom and select Developer options from there.
6- Under Developer options, look for Enable OEM unlock checkbox/toggle and enable it.
»Boot your device into Download mode:
»Switch off your device.
»Press and hold “Home + Power + Volume down” buttons for a few seconds until you see a warning screen.
»Press Volume Up on the warning screen to accept it and boot into Download mode.
7- Once your device is in download mode, connect it to the PC with a USB cable. The Odin window on PC should detect the device and show an “Added!!” message.
8- Now we’ll select each firmware file (from files we got in Step 2 above) into the appropriate box in Odin.
9- Click on CSC tab and select the firmware file starting with CSC_BTU name.
└ Note: Do NOT select the HOME_CSC file as it’ll will not replace your CSC to the version required to get Nougat OTA.
10- Click on CP tab and select file starting with CP_G930FXXU1BPJJ name.
11- Click on BL tab and select the file starting with BL_G930FXXU1BPLB name.
12- Click on AP tab and select the file starting with AP_G930FXXU1BPLB name.
└ Note: DON’T play with any other options on Odin the screen. You’re only required to connect your device and select the firmware files as instructed above.
13- Click the Start button on Odin and wait for it to finish the process. Once it has finished successfully, you’ll see a pass message on the Odin screen.
Your device will automatically reboot when Odin is done flashing. You can then disconnect your device.
└ It might take some time for the first boot after flashing a stock firmware.
» Download Nougat OTA:
Once your device boots and you’ve the latest BTU firmware installed. Go to Settings » About device » and select Download updates manually option. This should let you download the Nougat update that is currently rolling out with build number G930FXXU1DPLT.
Android Custom ROM ™ recommend you connect to a WiFi network before checking for the update manually, since the Nougat OTA update is 1291.19MB in size.
