The download mode is quite similar with therecovery environment. Both are pre installed on the Galaxy A8 like on any other Android based device and both can be easily accessed – without using complex operations and without using unofficial procedures. Moreover, both environments are hidden by default so it is your job to learn how to reboot your A8 in order to reveal recovery or download mode.

Use the hardware keys
1- A computer is required and on your phone you must gain Developer Options (tap a few times on Built Number) and enable the USB Debugging option (from “menu – settings – developer options”).
2- Turn off your smartphone (don’t reboot it, complete a proper shut down operation).
3- Next, press and hold the Power, Volume Down and Home buttons.
