Nexus 5X Readers Running Android 7.1.1 N4F26O firmware can use this guide to root the phone. The newest firmware from Google doesn’t feature a new iteration number rather it brings in a new security patch for the month of February 2017. The changes are majorly beneath the User Interface hence you won’t notice them. However, to extend the flexibility of your Huawei Nexus 5X and stretch the limits, you should implement root. The root utility allows you to install apps that perform advanced tasks such as let you install custom ROMs, overclock your phone and more. After you root, you would have access to these apps directly through the Play Store. For our tutorial, we will use SuperSU package and TWRP custom Recovery.

You Can Find Out How to Apply it Right Now  Via This Easy Tutorial .

•Your Nexus 5X bootloader should be unlocked.

•Nexus 5X should be on Android 7.1.1 N4F26O software version.

•Make a Nandroid backup of your previous phone set up before proceeding – for just in case anything goes wrong.
