Since the CM13 Android 6.0 ROM is still under development stage, for now the Android 6.0 M system isn’t stable enough for a daily use. So, you will be experiencing lot of bugs, lags andsoftware related issues that won’t let you use your HTC One M7 like you should. Thus, install the ROM only if you are an advanced user and only if you want to test the latest Android release and the latest features, apps, or processes. Don’t worry, all the bugs and issues will be eventually resolved by the devs and then you will be able to enjoy a stable and a smooth Marshmallow experience.
Of course, you can even test the CM 13 ROM without risking anything. You can flash the Android M system, test it for a while and then go back to stock and everything within a minute or less. How is that possible? Well, it is only if you decide to make a Nandroid backup.

÷ How to Install CM13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Custom ROM Firmware on HTC One M7:
1- Download the CM 13 custom ROM file and Google Apps
2- Place these files on your computer; on desktop if possible.Plug in the USB cord and through the same connect your smartphone with your computer.
3- Now, get the downloaded files and place them on your device.After doing so, unplug the USB cord and power off your smartphone.
4- Reboot recovery mode on your HTC One M7.From recovery apply the classic wipe: “wipe data factory reset”, “wipe cache partition” and “wipe dalvik cache”.
5- After erasing and clearing the system, load the update file by choosing “Install”.So, pick the CM13 ROM and install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your One M7.
6- Repeat the last step and flash Google Apps package.In the end, reboot to Android OS by selecting “reboot” from main menu of recovery.
Congratulations; you can now safely test the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware on your own HTC One M7.
