Lenovo K3 Note recently received the much awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. However, folks like us, who couldn’t go without root access on their Android devices seems to be still deciding on whether to update to Marshmallow or not, in fear of losing root access.

All you gotta do to root K3 Note Marshmallow update is download the SuperSU beta zip and simply flash it from TWRP recovery. No custom kernel or anything else required to be flashed along with it. SuperSU script will automatically patch your device’ boot image to allow root access and then install SuperSU app (along with required binaries) to get your device rooted.

•Download SuperSu v2.46 (stable)
• Download SuperSU v2.68 (beta, supports Marshmallow with systemless root and includes auto-boot patcher).
1- Download and transfer the SuperSU zip file from the download link above to your device’s storage.
2- Boot your device into TWRP recovery.
3- Tap on “Install” and select the SuperSU zip file that you transferred to your device in Step 1.
4- After selecting the .zip file, do “Swipe to Confirm Flash” on the bottom of screen to begin the flashing process.
5- Once SuperSU is flashed, you’ll get “Reboot System” option, select it.
Congratulations! Your Lenovo K3 Note should be rooted now. Look for the SuperSU app in app drawer.
